Physical Stats

Age: 17.
Birthday: Unknown.

Height: 5 ft even.
Weight: 98 lbs.
Build: Small; Athletic.

Hair/Fur Color: Black.
Eye Color: Maroon.

Identifying Features:
Cat-slit eyes, abnormal colored eyes.

Typical Clothing Choice:
Unknown.

Mental/Personality Traits and Weaknesses/Phobias:

Mental/Personality:
Very independent. Not at all a push-over, in spite of his size. Well-spoken, though a bit naive (of course, this applies outside of GenCore.) Defiant, and some have even went as far as to call him spoiled. Ruined.

Weaknesses/Phobias:
Too hot-headed. Physical size. Trains.
He fears - irrationally, or not - that one day he'll get too enraged to ever come back down.

Special Enhancements or Physical Characteristics:

Special Enhancements:
Can heal rapidly when injured, while enraged. Overall, quicker than an average human.
Heightened senses; eyesight, hearing, smell, touch.
Agility; he can spring much like a cat would do.
Cat-like reflexes. And he hardly ever falls down.

Physical Characteristics:
Cat-slit, maroon colored eyes.
Sleek, thin, black tail.
Fur-covered ears atop a head of soft-as-fur black, chin-length hair.
Black claw-like nails at the tips of his fingers.
(Note: Typically, the ears and tail will be hidden in one way or another.)

Home, Haven and Occupation/Hobbies:

Home: The Laboratory; GenCore.

Haven: Unknown, or none.

Occupation: Science experiment deemed failed on a gradual scale.

Hobbies: Drawing an writing. It's unique, in a sense, because he hadn't ever seen the world outside of GenCore; Rueyn would sit and write, or draw pictures, given that he had a supply of paper, of what he assumed it would be like.

Skills, Talents and Education/Training:

Skills and Talents:
(Mostly listed above.)

Education/Training:
Very little education, other than reading and writing. All other aspects of schooling are on a low third-grade level.

No one would have suspected that, the small feline-like human was capable of withstanding most battle scenarios. He had, however, been ran through training simulations to discern how he would be effected by numerous gunshots, imprisonment, and more than a one-on-one situation within hand-to-hand combat. They fully expected him to use his claws to his advantage, and he undoubtedly did so.

Property, Pets and Toys:
Dozens of notebooks, mostly all of which are full. Pens, Sharpie markers, pencils, a pencil sharpener, and colored pencils. All of which are kept neatly inside a small black satchel that looks to be handcrafted. That's about as far as his personal property goes.

Friends, Enemies and General Contacts:

Friends:
Dr. Mary. (Deceased.)

Enemies:
Anyone from GenCore.

General Contacts:
Unknown, as of yet.

Brief History:
The day he was pulled from the pod-like machine, and took an actual breath, there was utter silence throughout the laboratory. He was the first specimen to make it that far, and was thus dubbed Specimen 001. The creature was cared for, kept clean, and healthy.. but by the time his own personality emerged, most of the scientists weren't so sure what they had managed to do.. Shortly after nine years had passed, they'd dubbed their creation 'ruined.'

It was a female medical scientist that took it upon herself to see to the creature's other needs; the need to learn, to talk.. to communicate how he felt. It was with this new-found knowledge that the creature re-named himself; a simple play with letters, and he'd named himself Rueyn. Much to the GenCore's surprise, the specimen was doing well, after all. Perhaps all living things needed some sort of nurturing? Dr. Mary brought him books, papers and writing utensils. Eventually, she'd even found the time to make him a back worthy of carrying his belongings in, despite the fact that he never got to go far.

Dr. Mary.. She didn't at all agree with the standards in which he was being kept, and wasn't afraid to let it be known. Of course, in speaking up, she lost her job and was thus told to make her way to the ground-level floor and exit the building. It was a teary goodbye, and one where the guilt of it all nailed her hard; she didn't want to leave Rueyn behind, and he most certainly didn't want to be left.

It wasn't but a week later that she was discovered dead in a freak accident; her car had been run off the road, and hit a tree while running at speeds of eighty miles an hour. They kept the information from the creation as long as they could, though, the thing had a way of getting information out of the most tight-lipped scientists and doctors.. and when he found out about her death, Rueyn shut down. He'd no longer do what they asked. He wouldn't willingly partake in their sessions, or even talk to them. He became more of an unruly, defiant, child that they could not - and would not - control.

One thing always remained true, however. Rueyn was determined to make an escape, and though he'd tried many times - only to be dragged right back to his room - this one coming up, he had a bit of help on.. and it was certain to work..
